NDCC - National Dialogue on Climate Change

is an independent budding think tank and a PR Agency for Climate Change studies to help students, professionals and policy makers to cope up with the adverse affects of climate change which is one of the most formidable threat of 21st century, yet has been profoundly neglected in policy circles. NDCC is set to mark a watershed moment in the history of climate change so that hollow words of tackling climate change could be turned into robust actions. It intends to open a new window of opportunities for young professionals to come forward and contribute to Research and Development on Climate Change with their knowledge, ideas and views.

MISSION & VISION
NDCC aims to bring back the environment to its natural course by identifying global environmental problems created by climate change and presenting eco-friendly solutions for a green future. It will be achieved by:

✔️ Promoting research and development on climate change and its hazards.

✔️Enlightening masses about the deterioration of the environment due to their harmful lifestyles.

✔️Creating content to change public opinion in favor of eco-friendly development.

✔️Educating multitudes about hazards, adaptation and mitigation of climate change through environment journalism.

✔️Motivating youth, urban planners, engineers and all the stakeholders to contribute to sustainable development through their creativity and innovation.

✔️Proposing policymakers and government official research-based solutions to move to greener and safer cities.

Message from the Founder/Chairperson (Maliha Abbas Zaidi)

"Luxuries and capitalistic mindset around us has smoke-screened the reality of climate change to an extent that its existence has been left largely unacknowledged. Amid widespread ignorance over this pivotal issue, I believed in mainstreaming the discourse on Climate Change. There came the idea of establishing a leading institution to make our youth, professionals and policy makers cognizant of these looming threats. I have observed that studies related to Climate Change are underemphasized nationally despite of it being an ominous threat. I believe, It's a high time to equip our youth with necessary skills to battle it out by nurturing culture of scientific research and reasoning via international collaboration"
